Nipa – ProductsPhotography
Nipa also wanted to showcase their products found in their “subscription box”, so we have this. A bit of a challenge for my makeshift studio/photography table (a.k.a. my small work desk), but I managed! Yay!

Nipa – Cashew ButterPhotography
More product photography for my portfolio, because most of my photography work for Tender Blender lately has been of products for Nipa. It was a nice change, having very little to think about the setup (besides lights and the acrylic surface, of course).

Beer Below ZeroPhotography
Mixing it up a bit with some product photography! Shot this a while back for a client, because they started serving beer below zero, but didn’t have a photo of…beer below zero. At best, the photo they had was another bottle, with the label edited on. I would not stand for it!
The funny thing is, this was the second bottle of beer I had to put in the freezer. While the first one was chilling, my dad found it and partook of it. I couldn’t stop laughing! It was a good thing there was another one.
That’s real frost, ladies and gents! And my old sheet of rubberfoam came in handy.

Fantastic Facial HairPhotography
Another favorite! A guy with the most awesome mustache that I’ve seen in San Francisco!

Hello, StrangerPhotography
One of my favorite snaps from my San Francisco trip. I settled at a window seat in a Starbucks, and propped my camera up to face a certain direction and took a shot every time people passed by. I think this guy attempted a “photo bomb” but instead gave me a wonderful photo! I have a ton more from that window seat series.

If I’m really honest with myself, I think I’d be some sort of street photographer if I gave up on food. It’s a wild change, from the posed, calculated shots with food, to the spontaneous and fleeting photos I get with random people on the streets.
Also, hello to my first photo on my portfolio taken with my Fujifilm X-A1! It’s an amazing little thing.

Revel BarsPhotography
I actually don’t know how I feel about the weather these days, possibly because it tends to be pretty bipolar. But whatever the weather, there is always room for ice cream on pastries.

The perks of making your own breakfast is that you can do whatever you want. That includes taking your sweet time picking out the best looking waffles, styling your food to some degree, and taking photos. And then eating it afterwards.

Yummy September 2013 – Theo & PhiloPhotography
I was skimming through the magazine again, when I spotted a tiny photo I had taken almost a year ago! It was taken during my first ever shoot for Yummy, and it’s one of my favorite photos to date! I love the colors, the simplicity, and it’s just oh so bokehlicious.

Yummy August 2013 – Fruity ColadaPhotography
Something from last month’s issue! A lot of space is required when I shoot, since they’re pretty much used for editorial purposes, in case text needs to put on top of the photos for descriptions or whatever. Haha. :)
